The user interaction panel is wizard like with 3 tabs. First tab is about collecting files for conversion. This application can convert files in a batch process. Adding a track, deleting, even “check all” for selecting all tracks etc controls lets you fine tune the list. New format selection has a drop down of WAV, MP3, Ogg and WMA choices. One can preview the tracks to ensure the tracks are not broken, noisy or otherwise defective. Then there are controls for changing the key, tempo and volume. Just so the tracks do not get overwritten, the choices on Tab 3 Destination lets you select a separate file as output or specifically ask the application to overwrite only if you are absolutely sure.

On tab 2 one makes the choices about conversion parameters; sampling frequency, bit rate, quality vs. file size choices etc. All that remains after that is to push the convert button and watch the progress bar. One can abort the process anytime of course.

Cons: No problems here.

Overall a well featured application that is easy to use and learn and is good for a 4 star level.
